Enriched with exemplifications from cases the author describes how and why an individual’s process towards insanity evolves, unfolds, and the various outcomes and results from it. Hereupon the author concludes that the misfortune of sanity is being misperceived while trapped in horrific situatedness where being properly understood is the single act of adequate kindness by which the trapped person can be saved. When adequately met the client can walk the distance back home to the social normality of the self, at the contrary, the self and its existence die.
